SUPURATION (F)



Yes, the mighty french legend SUPURATION (aka SUP) are back from the crematory in form of a retrospective collection CD which includes all the earliest and most brutal stuff of the band from '89 /'90 when they were in their most Death Metal shape right before they started to experiment with clean vocals and more varied sounds.
"Back from the Crematory" is the generic title of this cult release which is planned for an imminent release on September 16th. The CD includes the awesome band's debut self-financed mini CD "Sultry Obsession" ('90), their only demo "Official Rehearsal" ('90) as well as the impossible-to-find demo of the band's very 1st studio recording "Haunted" under their previous monicker ETSICROXE as well as a 9-song live show, both from '89.
This masterpiece comes with remastered sound and packed in a total old-fashioned layout in contrat to their latter weird & sophisticated designs. Includes killer 12-pages booklet featuring an exclusive retro-interview, liner notes, cover and tons of old photos & flyers. This definitely a must-have release not only for every SUPURATION fan, but for every lover of the good old Death Metal from late 80's and early 90's!!

CANNIBAL CORPSE (US)

CANNIBAL CORPSE has begun recording their twelfth studio album at Sonic Ranch studios in Texas with producer Erik Rutan.
The band has spent months writing the album and has recorded at Sonic Ranch in the past, but never with Rutan at the helm. More details on the album, including art, songs, title and more will be revealed in the months to follow. For now, the band is hard at work forging their next death metal offering.
Bassist Alex Webster adds: "After having spent the past 7 months writing and rehearsing new material, we're very excited to finally begin recording. We've had great success working with Erik Rutan on our past two albums so we've decided to work with him again, but to keep things fresh we decided on a change of location - we're returning to Sonic Ranch studios in Texas, where we've recorded several albums in the past. We are psyched to see how this combination works out- we feel it's pairing that could result in our best album yet."
Erik Rutan worked with CANNIBAL CORPSE for both Kill (2006) and Evisceration Plague (2009) and is returning for a third time.
Rutan explains further: "I am super excited to work with Cannibal Corpse for our 3rd album together. We are determined to make the best album we possibly can. Everyone is very focused and the new material is awesome. There is a great blend of classic, old school CC with a newer, more heavy, dynamic and aggressive approach. I look forward to the challenge of making one heavy as hell record!"
CANNIBAL CORPSE 's latest release, the Global Evisceration DVD, was released March of this year and contains nearly three hours of live and behind the scenes footage of the band as they travelled to 10 different countries in 18 days, three of which were countries the band had not previously played.

VALLENFYRE (UK)
Century Media Records is proud to announce the signing of UK Death Metal band VALLENFYRE.
Same as Sonne Adam from Israel, VALLENFYRE debuted with a 7" single on the underground label Imperium Productions and also share a similar approach of mixing classic Death Metal with Doom and in case of VALLENFYRE some British Crust on top.
Jens Prueter (Century Media Records Europe): " I was already blown away by VALLENFYRE's old school orgy of doomy and crusty Death Metal riffs when I heard the first demo last Winter and the new 7" sounds even better.
So I couldn't hesitate to offer them a deal straight away. That's how we signed Grave and Asphyx over 20 years ago - and we all know that it was a good decision. So welcome to another chapter of Century Media's Death Metal legacy.
VALLENFYRE's debut album "A Fragile King" is already recorded and will be released in late October 2011. If you like a mix of early Entombed, Celtic Frost, Autopsy and Amebix you should hurry up to buy the last few copies of the "Desecration" 7 "
