TERROR SQUAD (JAP)

Hi Keiji, Hi Keisuke (I think you'll do the interview together!), welcome in Carnage Mag! What's up you Japanese Masters in Thrash Metal? All`s good?

Japanese Thrash scene is already DEAD. But we're still alive (Keisuke isn't here, Kouichi, Keiji, Hirohumi & Hiroyuki writing)!

I think not many maniacs in Germany know fuckin Terror Squad, so tell us please a little bit from your beginning: former members, when does Terror Squad start to invade the world, older releases, etc.

We have released only one CD. Very lazy band. But super quality. We've already gone to Germany 2001.

I think Terror Squad must be one of the oldest thrash bands in the land of the rising sun, huh? How old are you fuckers?

We're all thirties. Dirty Thirty!

In 1994 came your first demo titled "The birth of the new rage". I've bought the demo directly from you. On the demo were three tracks. Sometimes I hear it. It's a very classic demo, with a god sound and it came out in a time, when thrash metal was very unpopulair. Tell us a little bit about the demo, production, tracks, how many copys were sold, etc.?

About 1,500 copies.

What for reactions did you get about the demo? Fans, Press, etc. How many demos you've sold?

It was good. maybe...

Many years later in 2000 your debut CD "The Wild Stream Of Eternal Sin" saw the light of day. Now you were a three piece, like the classic Exciter line up, hahaha. What`s up with the other members from the demo, Takatoshi, Hiroyuki and Mizuho? Are you in contact with them?

Hiroyuki was back to our member as a bassist. His name is Anarchy Beast now. We never contact rest of members. I hate them.

From the demo is only "Chain Of The Damned" on the CD, why only one track? The other tracks were as good as the others?

We often played "Chain of the Damned" at that time. And it was good reaction from Fans at the show.

I think Terror Squad is influenced exclusively by Bay Area Bands like Exodus, Heathen, Holy Terror, Agent Steel, Legacy (pre Testament) or Death Angel. Tell us a little bit about your influences! What are you hearing?

We are influenced by DARK ANGEL in early days of us. But never influenced by other Bay Aria bands. We love Itarian thrash god Bulldozer!!

In 2001 you did a tour in Germany. As I remember my gay buddy Uwe and I will see you but we can`t find the Musikbunker in Aachen, hahaha. After 2 hours driving through Aachen we gave up searchin`, hahaha. Tell us some impressions from that tour! Was it a good tour for Terror Squad? And when will you come back?

It was very good tour. We played with SCORNAGE & BONEHOUSE. They are very very good guys. We want to back to Germany everytime! But we have no money. Call us!

Tell us a little bit about the label where you be World Chaos Production! Is it a good label for you? Last week I`ve bought Soulless from USA released on WCP, Next week I`ll get Illnath from Denmark also on WCP. Do you know these bands and what do you think about these outfits?

World Chaos Production is good label. Owner of label called "MAX" is total Fuckin lunatic guy!

Many times before, since the release from "The Wild Stream..." I wanted to do this fuckin' interview with TERROR SQUAD. I mailed two or three times to your labelchief Kawaguchi, but this fucker never answered me? Do you know why he doesn't answer? I was really fucked up about that!

He did only the artwork for "The Wild Straem Of Eternal Sin". He isn't the labelchief. He is only painter. Be cool brother! Ha!

Tell us a little bit about the Thrash Metal scene in Japan! Are there any cool bands out there who are worth our support? Here in Germany we only know KING'S EVIL, GRIM FORCE (RIP?) or the "Poserpatrol" from RITUAL CARNAGE!

I think, only cool metal band in Japan is SABBAT. Do you know these guys? Japan's finest metal!

In Japan is a great scene for Black/Death Metal like DEFILED, ABIGAIL, TRANSGRESSOR and classic Heavy Metal like METALUCIFER. What do you think about and do you know these bands?

Yes, I know them. We often play with ABIGAIL. METALUCIFER is very cool!

How many copys you've sold from "The wild stream of eternal sin"?

About 4.000 to 5-000 copies were sold.

As I remember right you've played with DEFLESHED and DEW-SCENTED in Japan? Tell us about!

We didn't play with them. HaHa! Sorry!

When comes a new record from Terror Squad and what can we expect from it? Brutal and choleric Thrash Metal again?

We can't expect about next album. Loud and cool!

What do you think about modern Thrash Acts like The Haunted etc, and the reunions from Destruction etc.? Did you see them one time?

No I've never seen them. We like DESTRUCTION, of course.

Last week I saw Testament, Death Angel, Nuclear Assault and Malevolent Creation. Pretty cool, huh? Death Angel played the whole "The Ultra-Violence" album! Any commends from you, hahaha.

Oh it's cool! I love "The Ultra-Violence" album!

Let's close this bullshit now! The last words are yours ! Hope to hear from you soon with a new record! Cheers and Thrash On!!!
