Hi there! How are you! Everything allright?

Everything good here. Thanks.

I have to say that your debut is a real killer. Very brutal, fast, but also very technical and well produced. Are you satisfied with the result?

Overall, I am pretty satisfied. I feel like I could have played better. I wasn't getting to practice much at the time and it kind of hurt me. But, I think it turned out alright.

In your infos stands, that you in the vein of bands like MORBID ANGEL or IMMOLATION. I think, it's ok, but HATE ETERNAL or MALEVOLENT CREATION are also not unknown bands for you?

Yes, we are fans of all of those bands. They have definitely been a huge influence. But, at the same time, we try to do our own thing and attempt to be as original as possible.

Your cover looks very cool. Is that a photocollage or what? Do you know, if Nicolaj Borg draw also other covers? Is it a guy from your sorrounding?

Yeah, he did the cover. We had nothing to do with it. The label sent us a copy of it and we thought it was pretty cool, so we went with it.

You covered MORBID ANGELs "Rapture" on the disc. Do you know the DIABOLIC version?

Yes, I have had the misfortune of hearing the DIABOLIC version. I can't say that I would have ever played it that way. We were originally not going to put that on the cd. It was for a tribute. The label wanted to add it.

There are two people called Zac and Dallas, who did backing vocals. Are they from any other band or are they just good friend of yours?

Zac Kerr is the guiter/vocalist for SPINECAST. Dallas is just a good friend who was at the right place at the right time.

You are only three guys on the new CD. Are you looking for a second guitarist or are you satisfied with that situation? Are you working with session guitarists live?

No, at the moment, we are happy with the trio. It would take a really impressive guitar player for us to think of a fourth. So, we are just sticking with what is strong.

You signed to Mighty Music. Are you still satisfied with them and did you get offers from other labels?

Yes, we haad a couple of other offers. Mighty has been really straight about everything and has done us well. I have no complaints.

I think Mighty Music is a very great label. Do you know the other bands suchs as ANASARCA, INIQUITY or BEHEADED?

I don't know them personally, but I have heard their material. It seems to be pretty killer stuff. I think BEHEADED is supposed to be doing an American tour soon. My other band CONVERGENCE FROM WITHIN might get to do a few shows with those guys.

You are also on a CANNIBAL CORPSE tribute, where you covered "Hammer Smashed Face" Is it out now? Are you planning to do other covers soon?

We recorded "Hammer Smashed Face" forever ago. What the hell happened to the tribute, I don't know. We have no plans to record any other covers at this time.

What do you think in general from tribute compilations? I think, it's very boring, cause many versions of the bands are very useless. One cover on a regular album is ok, but a whole CD? What do you think?

I pretty much agree, because most of the bands that try to do the covers, can't even fucking play half of the time. If you are going to do a cover, you could atleast do it half way right.

Let's talk a little bit about your former releases. There is the "Tower Of Pain" demo and the self-financed MCD "Divine And Conquer". I don't know both of them, so please tell me something about it. Which titles, other line-up etc.?

"Tower of Pain" was a three song demo. We were a four piece when we did that. It was very different at the time. We were more in the vein of DEATH and CYNIC. "Divide and Conquer" we were also still a four piece. It consisted of five songs. That was when we headed in a more brutal direction. It was a pretty descent attempt, but we weren't that tight, yet.

Is there a chance to still get the releases?

As far as "Divide and Conquer", it is out of print. I could get you copies of both of the old releases.

Ok, I think, that's it, till now. Thanks for the answers and greetings goes out to you!

Thanks for the interview and the interest in our music! Keep it fucking brutal!!!!! Thanks to all of the fans who bought the new CD.
