Hi Bobby, what`s up in sunny California. Some shaved pussys outthere (ha, I like shaved pussys)? Silikon Titts everywhere? But stop that blowjob with your drummer and answer me, hahaha.

Bobby: We're in the process of recording our 2nd. Release "Tomb of Infinite Ritual". We are also looking for labels that are interested in releasing it.

Tell me some news about you and fuckin brutal COFFIN TEXTS!

Bobby: We have Richard Gonzales on Guitars, Ariel Alvarado on Drums (Currently drumming for Malevolent Creation), & me on Bass/Vocals. It's been 5 years since we recorded & I think the new stuff KILLS.

How old are you all, what jobs are you doing and why are you playing brutal Death Metal?

Bobby: I just turned 35 on December 22nd. I'm a graphic artist & I play brutal Death Metal because I can't play anything weaker due to the years I've been playing, which is now 20 years. I started playing when I was 15.

It was not easy to find your debut album. Why this bad distribution and will it be better in the future?

Bobby: We signed with a Fuckhead that will not license our CD to Europe because he wants too much. We have a plan to fuck him next year. We are in the process of recording our new stuff & we will add "Gods of Creation, Death & Afterlife" as bonus tracks re-mastered. But again, we need a label that will license it for Europe.

Ok, my congratulation to "Gods of creation, death
and afterlife"! A real fuckin Death Metal Hurricane!

Bobby: Thanks you. Just to remind everyone, that was recorded in 1995 & released in 2000

On the first view the cd looks like a Nile clone, but on the second view your music has nothing to do with the Death Metal style that Nile follows. It`s only the cover with the shrine and... Do you like Nile? Who did that great artwork for "Gods..."?

Bobby: I like Nile & I did the artwork. Again, we recorded that in 95, before Nile. I didn't even know who Nile was in 1995. The artwork was also done in 95.

Tell me a little bit about the lyrical concept that Coffin Texts follow!

Bobby: I talked about the Spirit world & Spiritual Chaos.

When it comes to the 11. September. What do you think about?

Bobby: I think about 4000 souls being freed from this life's lesson.

To me tracks like the unbelievable opener "Ethereal Conjuration", "Revengeful Entity" or "Earthbound" sound really hateful, and to me that's the right soundtrack for Armageddon, haha. Where do you get the inspiration to write hateful stuff like that? Not to forget "Their Bodies, Our Soul"

Bobby: All music is done by Richard Gonzales, I write all the lyrics. Richard is an amazing guitarist. Since Entety, he has never let me down considering music.

The production on "Gods of..." is a killer! Fuckin mind and earblasting. Who did it and will you do next in the same studio?

Bobby: We had Jim Barnes record it (Phobia, Mindrot, Morgion). He was good but we will have someone else record our next by the name of Bernie Versailles (Agent Steel).

Are you satisfied with Dwell Rec. work for COFFIN TEXTS? If you ask me the answer must be a big NO because you can`t buy the records in Germany about an official mailorder.

Bobby: I hate Dwell Records. The owner is a fuckin Jew/Ripoff. Fuck him & his mom.

I `m not here to do comparisons, so tell the guys out there what kind of music COFFIN TEXTS' do?

Bobby: Grinding Obese Death Metal

Coming to the two cover tunes on "Gods of..." namely "Crypts of Eternity" and "Disturbing The Priest" of Black Sabbath. Why those two tracks? In my opinion "Disturbing..." is the best Song Sabbath ever did and the Coffin Text version sounds really great and killer. "Crypts..." Sounds like as an own Coffin Texts song. So you gave those tracks a new identity. Well done, guys, ha ha.

Bobby: The tracks were put in because we were supposed to re-record those 5 songs with 3 extra ones to make "Gods..." but our guitarist broke his finger & we had to put the 5 song demo on the cd with 2 cover songs to make the release date. Those songs were taken from previous tributes that Dwell had put out.

Hey Bobby, why you did the tour with Diabolic? Me, Hacker, Andy and the guy from Necromaniac zine saw you in Essen as you know but the drum sound was catastrophic. In front of the stage you could only hear Bass drum.

Bobby: I am now in DIABOLIC & COFFIN TEXTS. When one band isn't busy I will work with the other. As for the drummer in Diabolic, He is no longer in Diabolic. He was relived of his duties when we got back, due to Rock Stardom & his shitty performance throughout Europe. We will return with a real "Blastmaster" next year.

How many gigs did COFFIN TEXTS do so far? And what can fans expect when Coffin Texts play live? A big Sado Maso show, hahaha?

Bobby: We are a three piece band with a powerful blow to the face. We want to tour Europe, but again need a record label in Europe for that.

Ah, tell us a little bit about the tour with Centinex, Deicide, and Diabolic. Some impressions about Germany, Pussys and so... Any cool story to tell?

Bobby: The tour was great. Centinex are cool as fuck & drink heavily. Deicide are great also. I had a great time with those guys, killer weed & drinks. The coolest story was walking around the cemetery with Erik Hoffman then smoking shitload of weed after. Glen is a crazy motherfucker. We ran into them at the Airport in Holland, flying back to Florida. Killer band, killer people. We plan on doing some shows with them in the future.

What was the best joke you've heard in the last two weeks?

Bobby: How can you tell a Snowman from a Snowwoman? Snowballs. Stupid, but funny.

What was the last gig you've done with Coffin Text and the last gig you've played for? I`ve heard you guys pay with buttfucks and blowjobs, huh? hahaha.

Bobby: No dude, they pay us with money. As for shows, the last one was in San Francisco, & there were so Blowjobs or butfucks up there.

Do you know that Glen from Deicide kicked and beat a friend of mine with no reason when they played? Well done Fucker!!! Glen - we love you!!!

Bobby: Glen told me that guy every year want to fight with him, so he gave it too him. We laughed about that for a couple of shows. Glen told me he really didn't want to do that, but he asked for it.

In Essen you would give me an advance CD from your newest outputs, but later I didn`t see you. I was tired and go home, hahaha, so I can`t ask nothing about your new songs. Now you must send me the copy, hahaha. No, tell me/us was can we expect from the new material? More dark, christhunting, blasphemous and fistfucking Death Metal in the vein of the ancients?

Bobby: Ask Hacker & Andi from Unholy Terror. They have a copy.

Let`s finish this bullshit. What are your favourite albums in 2002?

Destroyer 666-Cold Steel../ Arch Enemy-Wages of Sin/ Infamy-The Blood Shall Flow (Re-mastered) w/ Count the Dead as bonus tracks/ Sinister-Creative Killings/ Vital Remains-W/ Glen Benton on Vocals/

O.K. my friend, last words are yours and Coffin Texts. I wish you boys merry X-mas and a happy new year. Hope you like the questions I`ve wrote and don`t fuck yourself, hahaha. Hateful greetings from Germany!

Bobby: I would like to thank you Marcus for this interview & everyone that I met on the Tour with Diabolic. Horns Up & ask for Coffin Texts at your local record stores, cause it will be there soon. Also check out ww3music.com for cool releases from the states. Horns Up Germany!!!
