One more Death/Grind-Act from Mexico after the furious DISGORGE rised up: CHORONIC INFECTION released an intense and brutal tape entitled "Forense Diagnosis" via American Line. So I would like to know the history of that monstrose and hopeful killer act.
First thanx for your concept about us, we play since 1993 but the concept of C.I. come since 1996 and the actual alienation is: Francisco Caballero (Guitar), Rafael Rodríguez (Bass), Juan Sánchez (Drums), Manuel Navarro (Vocals).
Why did you release "Forense Diagnosis" just as a tape and not as a Mini-CD? Or will there follow a Mini-CD?
That was Joel´s idea (from American Line) A.L. release "Forense Diagnosis" as a tape only to start the project, but we´ll record a new album and I think that album will come as CD.
When will you release your debut?
In fact "Forense Diagnosis" was the debut-demo, we´ll record the new album soon.
Will you also release EPs?
That´s a good idea.
I think, Central America is becoming an important place for the new Death/Grind- movement, especially for the Goregrind-freaks worldwide. DISGORGE, BLOOD REAPING, OXIDISED RAZOR, ROTTENNESS, CHRONIC INFECTION, DOMAIN, DEMONIZED, KABAK, HOLOCAUSTO... How would you describe the scene in Mexico and around (San Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua...)? What killer-releases can we expect from that region?
Yes Marc, Central America is an important place for the Death/Grind movement, when we talk with anybody from Disgorge for example they say that Central America is a very good place to play Death/Grind, we hope stay there soon, too.
Will you play some shows in Europe sometimes in the future? Did you already hear about the FUCK THE COMMERCE-Festival in Germany or the OBSCENE EXTREME festival in the Czech Republic?
Yes we know about these festivals, but we never played on anyone of these.
What can we expect from a CHRONIC INFECTION-Liveshow? Some gimmicks like naked chicks, spikes, guts and gore?
No, just brutal Death/Grind for all. But no bad idea Marc.
What is your inspiration for writing lyrics? I bet a lotta Splatter/Gore-Movies, right?
About The Inspiration, of course I have seen gore movies, but reading to Nietzsche or H. Hesse I can write a lyric in my case.
What are your favorite movies? Is it easy to get brutal stuff in Mexico?
Its difficult tell your names of any movie, because some times I see a movie with friends but not remember the names, here in México not easy get brutal stuff, but always be any form to get it.
What is your opinion about Black Metal?
The concept is stupid, but some bands have good music.
Do you have any side-projects beside CHRONIC INFECTION?
No.
What was the best gig you ever played?
I think that each gig is different.
Is there any other kinda Style of Music you listen to beside the brutal Death?
Yes, not just Death/Grind, Progressive, thrash, blues, and some more.

Is the life in Mexico hard for an extreme Act like you? Is Religion or censorship a big problem or can you do what you want? Tell me a bit about the Mexican way of live. I must say, that censorship is a very big problem here in fuckin’ Germany, especially CANNIBAL CORPSE have big trouble with our fucking Authorities... How liberal is Mexico?
The censorship is a problem everywhere, like here in México, but anywhere exist people insane like you and us, no problem man, we try to do all that we want.
